The Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the many surrounding fire departments that assisted at the sawmill fire last week. The fire occurred on the hottest day so far this year. Multiple fire companies and heavy tankers that were needed came from our neighboring departments and surrounding counties. We greatly appreciate the mutual aid support.
