| The 2025 summer fund drive of the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department was very successful thanks to the many members of our community that have donated again this year. Our primary fundraising efforts are the summer and winter fund drives that provide financial support to the fire department to pay the building mortgage and provide funding for other projects each year for the fire department.
We are grateful for a generous community that allows our department to purchase apparatus and expand our facility. While many volunteer fire companies have asked Frederick County Fire/Rescue to provide county owned fire apparatus or even build a firehouse that is owned by Frederick County, we are one of the few remaining fire department's in Frederick that own all of our apparatus and own our building. To put it in correct perspective YOU, our community truly own the equipment and our fire station through your continued financial support.
