Spring is in the air, so is pollen and the smell of fresh cut grass. Don't take lawn mower safety for granted.

Never allow children to ride on the mower while mowing and do not allow children to play around lawn mowers.
Stop mowing and turn off the mower if children or pets enter the area.
Make sure the correct attachments and safety features are in place
Use extra caution near drop-offs, walls, banks and water hazards
and NEVER reach under the mower or the grass chute while the mower is running.

See many more lawn mower safety hints are attached to this safety announcement.

Have a safe spring from the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department!!
