UPDATE: JONES RD will be closed to traffic, closing planned for March 30 and is estimated to run to May 1. The road will close at the Mill Creek Entrance/fire company property and be totally closed from Rt. 75.
UPDATE: FYI, Pleasant Construction advised they will begin removing trees from the Jones Rd side of the carnival grounds tomorrow starting about 9AM.
Jones Road will be closed a few days for work on the south side of the road from the entrance to Mill Creek to Rt. 75. During this phase the road will be completely closed. Work is scheduled to begin within the next two weeks.
Work is also scheduled on Jones Rd. to eliminate the sight distance behind the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department carnival grounds. This work will eliminate the hill along Jones Rd. and improve the overall visibility and widen the roadway. The excavation work on this project will most likely begin in February with the roadwork March or later. |
